Home Page
Showing how groups work

check the folder fonts and use the font names as shown (uppercase) to indicate which font is required. Upload any picture normally and indicate its name with or without extension. Lowercase ".jpg" is expected. The picture description is the last field after the picture name. Because tipography is produced on the fly and this process takes time, add the parameter &make=1 on the query string of the page where it's supposed to show this group info. Every time you need the tipography to be re-generated, you need this &make=1 added to the query string. Once made, the text in the requested font will be stored there in the "fonts" folder as a .jpg file to simply be used when needed.

Any picture

Every line is a new entry for groups. If you don't define a picture, a default empty picture will show instead. This picture is a white dot included with name "vacia.jpg"

no picture was defined

But when a picture name is given and it doesn't exist, there is another picture called default.jpg that will show instad. One file "default.jpg" is given as example and you can upload another "default.jpg" to replace the one we give you.

This is our default picture

It could happen that when you create your Text, it will not be displayed because page was loaded before the new image was created. Remove the &make=1 and reload.

Notes on canvas.jpg

Once the &make=1 is added and tipography is generated, you can remove the &make=1. Notice that a grey line showing the status of tipography production is shown. This grey line will not show when &make=1 is removed

There is a consideration in tipography production. A white background image file named canvas.jpg. It's best rendered a text with shadow when the background is white or close to white. But there are situations where close-to-white color is needed. In such case, the canvas.jpg doesn't look good because you see a white rectangle contrasting with not-so-white background. For this reason there is a canvasf7efef.jpg, meaning it contains a "f7efef" background instead of "ffffff".

If you require another canvas, longer, higher, with different color, you need to make it, label it canvasXXXXXX.jpg being the X's the RGB setting in hexadecimal. Plus you need to EDIT the shell scrit in fonts/createxto to update the canvase used there, with the new name of the canvas.
