The directive above starts the Online store engine. The word storecat is the default at the moment, but it depends on what name you define for this table in wsconfig. In other words, if you create another table with another name and you replace storecat for that name, then you can open multiple stores with totally different catalogs, a thing not yet tested.

What it is better tested is the usage of this directive with 2 extra parameters: storecat,SALIDAS,hairstyles for example would only show the category named "hairstyles". See example on submenu "hairstyles" under Online Store. It is important to keep the word SALIDAS in uppercase AND THE name of the category exactly as you defined it when you created it. It is defined there where you create every product. Only administrator status allows you to create and edit products.

Who can buy? and Who can see products?

All visitors to your website can see your products. Only registered "clients" can buy and see prices. These clients have to fill out the registration form under "Register" and reply for confirmation to the automated emails. For this, you need to setup destmail, corp, corporation and website variables. The automated emails require these variables with correct values so clients can click to the right links.
